Anatomy of My Soul, is a unique storytelling, a blend of language and music, featuring eight original songs woven into the story of Prishtina, Kosova. Through her musical book, Vlera guides the reader from pre-war to war and post-war moments, singing to a life that once silenced her voice.

About the event
Vlera Kastrati is an educationalist and a multifaceted artist from Prishtina, Republic of Kosova, whose work blends music, literature and education.
Holding an MA in International Educational Development from Columbia University, New York and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Prishtina, she also pursued postgraduate coursework in Gender Studies at Central European University, Budapest. With two decades dedicated to educational reform in Kosova, she has worked particularly in shaping curriculum policy while maintaining her artistic career as a singer, songwriter and writer.
Her early love for music, has taken her into a musical journey through institutions like the Wiener Musik Seminar in Vienna, Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, New School, New York and private training in Prishtina. She has trained under renowned mentors such as Maria Pia de Vito (Italy), Ardiana Bytyci Phd, Ahmet Dërguti Phd (Kosova) amongst others.
